Development of heat pump systems by 2050

On behalf of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), a possible development of heat pump systems by 2050 has also been outlined. The study shows both, the current mean efficiency of heating heat pumps from the field measurement, as well as the future development if the economic / political framework conditions are set in such a way that the industry advances the technology.
